ENRIQUE DUSSEL founder with others of the Philosophy of Liberation. He works on Ethics and Political Philosophy. Born on December 24, 1934 in the town of La Paz, Mendoza, Argentina. Mexican citizen, is Professor Emeritus of the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM, México). He teaches a Magistral Chair in the Faculty of Philosophy of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Emeritus Researcher of the National System of Researchers (SIN). Bachelor of Philosophy at the National University of Cuyo (Mendoza, Argentina), Doctor of Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid, Doctor of History at La Sorbonne de Paris and a Bachelor of Theology at Paris and Münster. He has been awarded the Honoris Causa Doctorate at the Universities of Freiburg (Switzerland), San Andrés (La Paz, Bolivia), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Santo Tomás de Aquino (Bogotá), National Universities of General San Martín, and from the University of Cuyo (Argentina), at the National University (San José, Costa Rica), at of Panama, etc. In 2013 he was appointed member of the Steering Committee of the International Federation of Philosophy Societies (FISP, Geneva). Interim Rector (2013-2014) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico City. Member of the American Academy of Arts and Scienes (Massachusttes). He, and many others associattion, has been invited to teach a semester at the Universities of Harvard, Duke, California State University, University of South Africa, Universität Köln, Goethe Universität Frankfurt, Universität Wien, Université Catholique de Louvain, Korea University (Seoul), etc.
